Booking Policy

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time in order to honor the next client.
The full session fee will apply.
Whenever possible, please arrive at least five minutes early to settle in and get the most from your time.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Changes made within this window may be subject to a 100% of the session rate.
This allows time to offer the appointment to another client and helps maintain a sustainable practice.
No-Show Policy
Missed appointments without notice can be expected to be charged the full service rate.
If something unexpected arises, please reach out as soon as possible — communication is always appreciated.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service.
Accepted forms of payment include cash / online booking payment / Zelle.
Gift certificates and packages, if applicable, are non-refundable and is valid to expiration date. Any credits may be applied to follow-up sessions only.

Massage therapy at Herban Therapeutics is provided within the legal and ethical scope of practice for licensed massage therapists in New York State.
Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care and does not include diagnosis or treatment of medical conditions. Clients are encouraged to communicate any health concerns prior to their session.
Professional Boundaries
All sessions are conducted in a professional, respectful, and therapeutic manner.
Clear communication, consent, and mutual respect are essential to the work.
Any behavior or language that is inappropriate, sexual, or violates professional boundaries will result in immediate termination of the session, and full payment will still be required.
Non-Sexual Services
All services provided at Herban Therapeutics are ethical, professional, and non-sexual. Massage therapy here is offered solely for therapeutic purposes.
Requests for sexual services or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Your Comfort & Communication
